After almost 30 years, our small Finnish ethnic nursing home in Toronto needs fixing up.
We want to say goodbye to the old gloomy privacy curtains that hang around each resident's bed, and replace them with something that will feel more like a home and less like an institution.
Our choice is an elegant turquoise-silver fabric in a pattern named POND, reminiscent of birch tree bark - a theme that resonates with Finnish culture. It is made in USA and adheres to Canadian fire regulations. Please see photo of sample.
The cost of new curtains is estimated at $35,000 CAD. Please help us if you can!
