Because of the Coronavirus the schools are closed and our youth ability to continue to learn has been compromised. The safe distance, stay safe, stay home to stay alive state law has prevented the personal gathering. We are working to provide our youth with an after school online continuing education program. Connecting 25 youth that have no resource to online network connection. We want to provide our participants with tablets and limited essential internet connection. This program will allow DMCD to have zoom group sessions with our youth through the summer. We also want to provide food and sanitary care packages for families during this time. This pandemic is not anyone's fault especially not our children. It is our responsibility to make sure that they have the neccessary tools to continue their growth and development. Thanking you in advance for your consideration / cooperation. Please stay safe and stay your distance.
