Love for Jennifer
Mother of five trying to survive
On November 26, 2019, Jennifer gave birth to twins Lily and Landon. She was admitted to ICU shortly after their birth. Jennifer was originally diagnosed with Sepsis, and remained in the ICU for several more weeks. Finally, we thought her improvement and health were on the mends, but unfortunately we did not know what was ahead of us. She was finally taken out of ICU and admitted into Methodist Rehab. However, Jen would not spend more than three days in Rehab, before she was rushed back to the hospital due to shortness of breath and too much fluid on her lungs. She was rushed back to the hospital via ambulance, and was found to have pneumonia. Doctors were still having problems with her retaining too much fluid all over her body, and we found out this was caused by her liver no longer working properly, a symptom of a rare disease we were told she had, called Budd–Chiari. After doing a liver biopsy it was also determined Jennifer had cancer. With this new information, Jennifer has had to be taken off the liver transplant list. Doctors wanted to know the source of the cancer so a colonoscopy was done which showed she had stage 4 colon cancer. So here we are, still in the fight of our lives with these and many other medical situations going on, but because we have faith, we are still trusting in God.
Jennifer is a long time school teacher, and a good, Christian woman. A wife and mother of five children- Tyler (12), Trevor (11), Khloe (5), Lily & Landon 2 months.
Jennifer has been in the hospital for over 2 months. She is battling stage 4 cancer and other major health issues. However, we believe God is still in control. Knowing this, we come now asking for your continued prayers and support for healing. Our God is alive, and he is our Jehovah Rapha, our healer! He is our Jehovah Nissi, our Victor! Thank you in advance for all you have done and any support you can give in the future, and God bless!
