It’s that time of year again and we urgently need your help. After 15 years with our current fencing system (that by the way has held upmarvelously) it is time to make some upgrades.
Our goal this year is to add an external barrier as a secondsecurity feature to ensure no wild animals breach the fence. This way our feralfriends can continue enjoying the great outdoors feeling purrfectly safe!!!
We are blessed to have an all-volunteer team willing to doall the work on their days off. (While our furry friends bask in the sun ontheir little posts watching the humans slave away for them.)
As always our volunteers have spent hours searching for thelowest price for supplies without sacrificing quality. Our goal includes a high 14 gaugecoated wire fence, U-posts, clamps and other supplies for installation of theouter perimeter.
Our kitty garden and play yard have saved over a hundred kittiesfrom certain death. Kitties like Williswho was wandering the streets of Boston as a kitten with a collar so tight itcaused neurological damage from reduced oxygen to the brain. Because he can nowsuffer sudden attacks of severe aggression the suggestion from every shelterwas to euthanize him.
And special needs kitties who has a severe form of CH (cerebellahypoplasia) and is unable to use her rear legs. Because of her complex healthissues and the fact she is incontinent she will remain with us for life.
Our volunteers are anxious to get started, please donate nowso we can get an early start. Help them reach their goal so they can continueenjoying their outside play yard andgarden without a care in the world and allow us to save the lives of otherdeath-row kitties. Your donation allowsthem to safely bask in the sun’s warming rays – sure to put little smiles ontheir precious faces.
