I was suckered into a 200ish mile Ragnar run through KY with the promises of bourbon and fun. It turns out this part of KY is hillier than VT, I live in a van for 36 hours, and you can't drink bourbon and run (at least I can't).
But I will be doing something that makes it all worth it: raising money to feed the 1 in 8 people who struggles with hunger in the U.S. Though meals are often from the freezer in my family, I am thankful every day that we never go hungry. So many kids and families in this country can't say the same. Eleven MILLION kids in the U.S. face hunger on a daily basis. No child, parent, senior--or person for that matter--should ever be lacking in food.
Please join me in donating to Feeding America, a charity that helps feed America's hungry families.
BTW this picture is neither KY nor VT. But the hills are probably comparable.
