In these unprecedented times, Picture This is looking for your help. Due to the virus, many of the indigenous Tagbanwa people in the village of La Jala are struggling to eat. They are out of work, and have been having to desperately hunt for shells and seafood to fill their children’s stomachs.
Although these families were supposed to receive welfare checks, our staff has noted 100 struggling indigenous families who were not included within the welfare list that should have been. Around the world indigenous people always seem to be those who suffer the most. Sadly, they do not have the tools or education to navigate this predicament, so we would like to take this opportunity to step in.
Although this is a time of struggle for many, including many of you, we felt that together we could unify as a community and help our neighbors near and far.
Picture This aims to raise a minimum of $1000 to feed 100 families with a food package that include 5 kilos of rice, sardines, noodles, and coffee. Any extra money will go straight to this community to help in whatever other ways they need.
Your help would mean the world to these kids and their parents!
