Feast of Crispian (FoC) works with the most vulnerable veterans who are challenged daily with the overwhelming symptoms of PTSD including Suicidal Ideation. The COVID crisis has amplified these vulnerabilities and left us with few ways of addressing them as well as the loss of events we count on for raising critical funds. Our unique, life saving work is impossible right now. We do what we can, every day, to keep in touch, as best we can, with people who in isolation are at greater risk than ever. General operating funds are needed to pay bills, most importantly holding on to our dedicated, highly skilled staff who currently maintain virtual contact with vets while navigating their own quarantine issues. It’s FoC’s face to face, ensemble building that keeps members from the brink. If FoC shutters its’ doors, some of those who so faithfully served us in the military may tip over that edge, while waiting for us to rebuild. Losing our staff will end the organization. Our current funding run’s out in August. Minimum operations cost approximately $10,000 a month putting FoC’s bare-bones salvation at $40,000. Please help us keep our staff working at supporting our veterans in a lonely and fearful time! We care deeply about our work and are grateful for any level of support.
