Join Custom Collaborative to raise funds to support our next cohort of fashion entrepreneurs!

Custom Collaborative is a New York City-based entrepreneurship and workforce development program that trains and supports women from low-income and immigrant communities to launch fashion careers and businesses.

We support women in our community through our:

Training Institute: Our comprehensive 14-week training institute teaches the art, craft, and technique of fashion design. Our training also includes extensive instruction on fashion business basics including marketing, sourcing, ethical manufacturing, and sustainable fashion, along with personal and business finance. Students graduate equipped with a toolkit to begin a career in fashion.

Business Incubator: Our business incubator offers management consulting, mentorship, technical assistance, advanced training, and professional equipment to Training Institute graduates and others in the fashion industry. Our goal is to maximize work opportunities and improve socio-economic outcomes for all women.

Worker-Owned Cooperative (launching Fall 2019): The worker-owned sewn-goods cooperative is comprised of Custom Collaborative graduates. We accept sample and contract manufacturing orders of 1 - 200 pieces.
