FCA Ragnar
Runner Spotlight

We are Rangarians, We are FCA
I run for HOPE!
I started to run late in life and finished my very first race, a 5K in 2013. Since then I participate in a
number of 5k’s, 10k’s, half marathons, a Ragnar in 2017, and completed my first marathon in
November 2017. I was very excited when FCA announced their first Ragnar team. I signed up
immediately knowing that this race is more than just another run… or another three runs for that
matter. I am running this race for HOPE.
Sometimes hope is in little supply. Challenges and obstacles can seem more impending when there is
little hope. But what I have learned through running is that hope can take you just a little further than
you expected. This is why I am running for FCA. FCA means HOPE to me. I see everyday as a chance to
provide a little HOPE to our clients, parents, and families that we work with. Its that HOPE we provide
that I wish will encourage our client to keep going, to get a little further into their dreams and closer to
their goals.
