This year, I have comitted to running the Falmouth Road Race to support Journey Forward, an organization founded by a close family friend and the most determined human being I've ever met, Dan Cummings.
Journey Forward, a 501(C) 3 non-profit organization, is a comprehensive exercise-based physical recovery program for people with paralysis. Regardless of a prognosis, Journey Forward believes that exercise is important to everyone. When one is able bodied, they benefit from every day functions such as walking. But, when one is confined to a wheelchair, it is important to maintain overall health through deliberate exercise. Living with paralysis is beyond devastating and Journey Forward hopes that working towards recovery can be an option for everyone.
Please consider making a donation to help me support Journey Forward and to better the lives of those with spinal cord injuries.
