AAA Fair Credit Foundation, a Utah-based nonprofit, has provided free financial counseling since 1997. Lower income workers look to us for assistance understanding credit and stretching hard-earned money into realistic budgets that allow them to save for emergencies.
COVID-19 has disproportionally impacted people like DW, a single Dad with 4 children, who worked as a chef until his restaurant was forced to close. He and his 4 daughters worry about their future. How will he pay the rent? Will they be homeless? What will his creditors do if he is unable to pay his bills? Will unemployment deplete all of his savings?
Fair Credit Foundation’s certified personal financial counselors help people like DW create an emergency budget, communicate with creditors and access community resources to carry them through this crisis and avoid dependence on costly private and public assistance programs.
Your donation will underwrite Fair Credit’s free financial counseling services to DW and many other Utah workers like him who quietly served you in restaurants, retail establishments, salons, sporting venues and other service industries.
