Last year I ran the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon to race the clock against time. My goal was to raise research dollars & awareness to find an answer for my son, Keenan and support NYU Langone hospital for exhausting all efforts to save our son. Because of NYU Langone, we were able to have 9 extra months with our beloved Keenan. We buried our son on October 15th, 2018, just shy of his 3rd birthday. Mike & I cannot bear the thought of another family going through this battle. My goal now is to run for awareness & research dollars. Only this time, I will run in memory of Keenan, & for every other family who is on the devastaing journey fighting the battle of Epilepsy. I placed my NYC Half medal in the casket with my son as a promise to continue on until we find a cure, for all the other children and families. I kindly ask that you continue to help us honor Keenan, while I run in his memory.

Funds raised by each runner will benefit research efforts to improve epilepsy care, educational materials and cost-free seminars, scholarship opportunities, family initiatives, and various events hosted by FACES throughout the year.
