While some NJ schools are shifting to virtual learning, many will still be partially or fully in-person. As schools become the new front line, we will continue our mission to protect against the spread of COVID by providing them with PPE.
According to the CDC, 1 in 4 teachers have health conditions that put them in the high risk category. Nationally, 29% are over the age of 50. By providing teachers, school nurses, administrators, food service workers, custodians, bus drivers, and all other school staff with PPE, we can help protect families, neighborhoods, and communities.
Please consider donating to help us to support school districts with PPE. For every $10,000 raised, we can produce and donate reusable face shields for an entire school district.

The Jersey City Rapid Maker Response Group (JCRMRG, affiliate of United Way of Hudson County) is an all-volunteer organization that began after a Reddit post calling for 3D printers in Jersey City, NJ to organize to make much needed face shields for local healthcare workers who were faced with significant shortages.
JCRMRG has produced 100,000 total face shields, all for donation to first responders and front line workers in NJ and across the country.
The group reached a significant milestone with the ability to leverage injection molding to manufacture face shields, giving them the ability to mass produce as many face shields as funding will provide .
All donations will be tax exempt and processed by our fiscal sponsor United Way of Hudson County.
