My name is Ezra and I am raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of America, as my Bar Mitzvah project. A bar mitzvah project is an opportunity to benefit the community.
The reason that I chose The Boys and Girls Club of America is because their mission is to provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all. They are inclusive to youth and teens of every race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, socio-economic status, and religion in order to help kids reach their full potential. This is important to me because I had a lot of opportunities to play sports and they have helped me both physically and mentally to grow to reach my full potential. I want other kids to have those same opportunities and by donating you are helping children participate in Boys and Girls Club of America, where they can find their own special thing.
As a fun twist, for every $250 raised by February 12th (donations after this date are still welcome), I will do one lap of a Donut Run. A Donut Run is when you eat a donut and run a lap around a track. I will post a video of the potentially painful results after the run. Make sure to look back at this site so you can see the video. Thank You for Donating!
Note: If we raise more than $1,000, I will enlist the help of a friend or family member to join me.
