In the face of dry conditions and soaring temperatures, wildfires continue to ignite and burn across the state of California. Deadly wildfires are burning in both northern and southern California, threatening residents, homes and businesses, forcing entire communities to evacuate. The Camp Fire—the deadliest fire in California history—has burned more than 130,000 acres and already destroyed 7,600 homes. The fire is only 35% contained and is still threatening 15,000 more homes. The American Red Cross is on the ground, providing shelter, food and comfort for people forced to leave their homes with little notice. Please consider giving to help those affected.
