When our daughter, Amelie, was born we spent a good bit of time in Children's Hospital. I wanted to give back by volunteering and getting involved. Several employees told me that what the children really need is "on demand" entertainment that they can watch when they feel up to it (between surgeries, chemo, sleeping, etc). So, we formed Everyday Sunshine, a 501c3 non-profit organization to produce a tv show that will be distributed to all 235 pediatric hospitals in the United States and hunderds of centers for people with intellectual disabilities.
We recruited artists, writers, musicians, actors, voice actors and an Emmy-winning cinematographer to work on this sketch comedy show called "Woooo!". It's a cross between Saturday Night Live for children and the Muppet Show. There's a sci-fi adventure about a janitor who's forced to save the world. There's a talent show parody of countless primetime programs called "Can You Outdance A Fifth Grade Millionaire?". The Breaking News anchors are Willie Makit and Betty Dont. There's a commercial for a spicy meatball breakfast cereal made by Eddie Spaghetti. You get the idea. It's silly stuff designed to make these special children forget about doctors and physical therapy for a few minutes and giggle. Our unofficial motto is "Goofing Off For A Good Cause". We've already filmed two-thirds of the show but we need financial partners to invest in this idea so that we can finish it up. All donations are tax-deductible. If your employer will match your donation, our tax # is EIN: 45-5092107
With $5,000.00 we can film the remainder of the show.
With $10,000.00 we can film, edit, mix and color grade the show.
With $15,000.00 we do all of the above, make DVDs and mail them out.
Thank you helping us complete this project and may God bless you.
