Every Ability Plays Project

Here is a little about our two next projects, and how much money Every Ability Plays Project has to raise

Our first project of 2020/2021 will be redoing the school playground at Colinas del Norte Elementary School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They want their playground to be accessible for their side by side students. Every Ability Plays Project has offered to purchase a wheelchair swing, 2 adaptive swings, a wheelchair slide and putting them a playground ground so that it can be easier to push their students who are in wheelchairs.

Tibbetts All Ability Part will be an accessible park built in Farmington, New Mexico. It will be built on 7 acres of land. Every Ability Plays Project has offered to purchase two wheelchair swings, four adaptive swings and some toy panels. We will also be researching how we can get a real wheelchair slide to this special park.  They will start building Tibbetts All Ability Park in late summer of 2021.

$1,982.00 Wheelchair swings

Adaptive swing set $750

Playground panels can cost up to $1,355. 3 playground panels = $4,065.

I have Cerebral Palsy. I am in a wheelchair. I can’t speak or use my hands. I am 40 years old.

It has been 6 years since I have been the founder of a project called Every Ability Plays Project. We hope to put a piece of special playground equipment in every park starting in Albuquerque. We have put an adaptive swing set for a little boy at Westgate Community Park. We have gotten a special bouncer for another little boy for his house and put him an adaptive swing at Shawn Mc Wethy Park.. We just ordered a wheelchair swing for a young girl who lives in Clovis, New Mexico.
