The Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity was founded on 3 simple but powerful principles; Be a Leader, Be a Friend, Be of Service. Founded December 16, 1925 on Lafayette College, our founder Frank Reed Horton, a former Boy Scout, brought over those principles into the organization. With over 300 chapters around the United States and 250 international, the members of Alpha Phi Omega not only help their communities but build aspiring leaders. Our chapter personally has partnered with organizations such as Keep Carroll Beautiful and Alex's Lemonade stand. Alpha Phi Omega is the literal embodiment of service. We pride ourselves on being able to reach and inspire as many people as possible through the work we do.
This month we a partnering with many other organizations on the campus of University of West Georgia to host a Breast Cancer Walk and raise money in order to reach a specified goal and make a donation to those who have been affected by Breast Cancer through Painted Pink Inc.
