I am very excited to be running the NYC half marathon for the second time as a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York (EFMNY) team in March 2020!
This year, I run in honor of my Uncle, Alan Cohen, who passed away in October 2019. My Uncle fought a tough and fearless battle against cancer. EFMNY was an important charity to him, and continues to be an important foundation to my family.
As you may or may not know, my older brother has lived with epilepsy almost his entire life. Thankfully, with the help of an amazing neurosurgical team at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, he has been essentially seizure free for the last 7 years. His endless strength and courage inspires me on a daily basis.
Please consider donating to help me reach my goal of $1,300 – one hundred dollars for every mile – in support of EFMNY.
Thank you for your consideration in support EFMNY!
