I wanted to do a little something to help spread awareness of this disease. Ewing’s sarcoma is a small blue round cell sarcoma of bone, but it also can occur exclusively in the soft tissues; essentially a cancerous growth that originates from bone or soft tissues. It most commonly occurs in the second decade of life, although it can occur in younger and older patients. The rate of survival is dismal in older individuals and it is really challenging physically, emotionally, and mentally.
I have personally donated a large sum towards further research in hopes that the future will be longer and brighter for others. Anything you all can donate will be greatly appreciated; the important thing is we bring awareness to this disease. If you or anyone you know is struggling with the disease visit Sarcoma Foundation of America at CureSarcoma.org. They have tons of resources one can use to make their battle with this disease a successful. Here is to a future where everyone diagnosed has the opportunity of a fair fight at survival.
