The holidays can be particularly difficult time for youth who live in poverty. 97% of the youth we serve live below the federal poverty level. YOU can make the holidays brighter this year despite Covid-19.

Your gift will help us support at-risk youth via our 22 programs on their path to success in these extraordinary times. What makes Waterbury Youth Services unique is that the architecture of our programming is based on Positive Youth Development, an approach that emphasizes building a young person’s strengths and providing support and opportunities that help them achieve goals.

With your support, we will impact Waterbury’s young people by providing:

 · Free virtual classes that prepare students for college and careers

· Free access to mental health, employment, and housing resources for the Brass City’s growing number of homeless youth

· Vital support and services that help children and adolescents in the foster care system and the Child Advocacy Center for abused, neglected children, reimagine their futures

Join us this holiday season to help empower underserved youth to recognize their potential and create positive change for themselves, their families, and their communities!
