Code in the Schools was founded in 2013 to empower underserved Baltimore City youth to thrive in the 21st century by expanding access to computer science education. We started as two instructors teaching 20 students after school. Six years later, we’ve grown to over 30 instructors teaching over 8,000 students across the city!
On December 3, #GivingTuesday, a global generosity movement that encourages people to do good. To celebrate this, Code in the Schools has launched our annual fundraiser in support of expanding access to computer science education for Baltimore youth to build pathways from school to jobs and higher education.
There is no donation too big or too small. Each and every dollar counts. So please, join us in your year-end giving to support Code in the Schools.
Thank you for your support!
