•And Neighborhood Art Projects transforming communities.
Please consider a donation to Access Art (www.accessartmd.org). Any amount will help make an impact and will directly support youth creativity, leadership, and safe spaces for Baltimore city children.
Founded in 2000, Access Art is a youth-focused community arts organization that inspires personal success by providing a safe space for hands-on learning in a variety of artistic media combined with civic engagement and leadership development. We serve over 400 community members per year in the Baltimore City communities of Morrell Park and Edmondson Village including youth and parents through comprehensive out of school arts programming, partnerships with the local elementary/middle schools to promote student achievement and family well-being, and finally through the coordination of resources and neighborhood projects that support community enhancement through creativity and art.
Our programs empower participants not only with comprehensive arts skills, but tools to help them in their journey towards success such as collaboration skills, problem solving techniques, and a positive self-image.
