Emmy's Thrift Shop provides funding to Ecumenical Ministries social service programs; Meals on Wheels, Emergency Aid, Food Pantry and Repair Baldwin (home repair). The store has been closed since mid-March and will remain closed until mid-April or longer depending upon the government's policy. Every day the store remains closed we are losing much needed revenue to keep the ministry running. Our programs are vital to the community and have become even more so during this Coronavirus outbreak. We are delivering meals to our vulnerable senior population, as well as providing food and financial assistance to families during this difficult time. Our need for funding is becoming critical, as needs are rising in the community. Not being able to generate funding though our store puts our ability to help in jeopardy. The longer we remain closed the more critical the need for donations to fill the gap in our funding needs.
