Colorado Conservatory of Dance is a non-profit organization that provides wonderful dance education to students like me. It also does a lot of great work for the community, including performing anti-bullying ballets for at least 4,000 elementary students each year. CCD also gives classes for children with special needs to learn forms of artistic dance such as ballet, modern, and jazz.
My favorite part of CCD's community work is the Nutcracker performance. CCD presents an adapted version of the Nutcracker for families of people with sensory needs. This special show is an incredible experience for both the dancers and the audience members.
I am so grateful for the amazing dance training that CCD has offered me and my fellow dancers. I have learned so much and been introduced to so many new kinds of dance in the 4 years that I have been attending CCD. The teachers and staff at CCD are fabulous people that care about my health and training. The memories I have made will last a lifetime. I am helping to raise money for CCD because I love dancing here and I am proud of being a part of a non-profit arts organization that gives so much back to the community.
Please consider donating in my name to help CCD continue to provide all these great programs. Even a small amount would be helpful and appreciated! And please think about coming to see me perform with CCD. :)
