2019 will be my second year running the Broad Street Run but my first year running for a cause. As a member of the Park Champions Team, I am raising money for the Fairmount Park Conservancy. Help my reach my goal of $500 by June by contributing through this page!
As an additional thank you for those who donate, I will be illustrating an original print (inspired by the natural beauty of Fairmount Park) that will be mailed to anyone donating $25 and above. Stay tuned to see an image of the print!
Fairmount Park Conservancy brings parks to life. We improve and steward Philadelphia’s parks, enhance their historic and cultural assets, and support the communities they serve. We envision a vibrant, high-quality, and equitable park system that enriches the lives of all Philadelphians and serves as a model for excellence in civic engagement, environmental stewardship, historic preservation, and cultural vitality.
Thanks to hundreds of Park Champion runners who have participated over the last 7 years, we've been able to restore the historic Belmont Plateau 5k Cross Country Course and have built the first sections of the Trolley Trail—a planned 5 mile soft trail loop around West Park following the route of the former Fairmount Park Trolley.
Read a Q&A with one of our runners from 2018 about why they ran with us.
Help us continue our work and register for our team!
