Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
5-month-old Prince Matthew lives with his parents in the Philippines. He was born with an occipital encephalocele (an encephalocele is a neural tube defect characterized by sac-like protrusions of the brain and the membranes that cover it through openings in the skull).
His father works at a market while his mother stays home to care for Prince Matthew.
They have been trying to get surgery for their son since he was born but they are unable to raise the funds needed. Their monthly income is only around US$120.
Prince Matthew needs surgery as soon as possible. As soon as we saw his photos, we knew we needed to help this beautiful baby boy.
Can you help us raise the funds needed for his surgery?
