Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life. Maria Princess is an 8-month-old baby girl with aqueductal stenosis which is one of the known causes of hydrocephalus and the most common cause of congenital (present at birth) hydrocephalus. As you can see, Maria urgently needs surgery to place a shunt to drain the fluid that is building up in her head. She also needs a pre-op MRI to identify any additional diagnoses. Maria's father works as a technician but has lost income due to the pandemic. Her parents are desperate to help their daughter. Can you help us raise the funds needed for Maria's MRI, shunt and surgery?
