A local Hoopa resident reached out to a rescue in Hoopa about a litter of puppies with some serious skin issues that were living under her porch area. They were born at the location and are now about 6 months old. The local rescue posted that if the resident does not receive help from a rescue then she will have no choice but to euthanize them. The rescue made a courtesy post because they don't have any extra funding or time with all the other projects they have going.
Our rescue, Noah's Ark came across the post and even though we are in the same boat as the Hoopa rescue when it comes to funding, time, and other projects, we can't let these puppies suffer aby longer and then be euthanized. We would like to try and save them but first we need funding. Our current financial situation will not allow us to do much. We have partnered with the rescue in Hoopa with trying to save these little ones and they have agreed to travel early in the morning tomorrow to meet us with the puppies at our vet in Cottonwood on emergency and hopefully get them started on treatment right away. They don't have much time left. The litter started with 5 and 2 have passed so far. There are 3 puppies still alive and we would like to keep them alive if we can. Tonight they are safe with the Hoopa rescue.
Again, we cannot help these puppies without funding from our community. We are setting our goal at the amount we think will get us through their medical but overall the expenses will surpass this goal amount. This will be a long term rescue with long term medical treatments and commitments. Please donate and share this fundraiser!!
