The Pets For Life Dallas Van doesn't just transport our boots-on-the-ground community outreach team and keep them safe on the road - it helps us provide free rides for pets in need to and from spay/neuter clinics and veterinarians, it helps us pick up and distribute donated food, crates and pets supplies, and it houses all our paperwork and critical educational resources to help caring pet lovers better care for their pets. We're helping pets stay in homes with their loving families and out of the shelter, reducing euthanasia rates community-wide! That makes our van an integral part of our team.
But last week the brakes failed. It happens. No one was hurt. But we were forced to spend $500 getting it repaired - money that we should have been able to use to help pets like Dax and Sugar. Quinton wanted to adopt these two homeless pups, but couldn't afford the initial veterinary care they needed. We made sure they got spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-worming, and even a new crate for bedtime!
The PFL program exists to keep people and pets together. Won't you PLEASE help us help more caring people and their pets? We need to raise $500 asap so we don't run out of money for veterinary bills and medicine for pets like Dax and Sugar.
