Dear Friends, Ella and I want to thank you for your incredible support last year for our WE Walk for Water Campaign. Together, with your help, we raised over $6300 to help provide access to clean water to people around the world. This translates to 252 people whose lives have been changed forever. Thank you all for making that happen! This spring we are aiming even higher and hope to raise enough money to provide clean water for 300 people!
Every day, women and children around the world spend 200 million hours fetching water from the only sources available — distant and often polluted lakes, rivers or streams. Easy access to clean water helps break the cycle of poverty by improving sanitation, preventing waterborne illnesses and giving people, especially young girls, the opportunity to go to school and earn a living. On May 10th Ella and I will be walking again for these women and girls. Only $25 provides Clean Water for Life for one person. Ella and I have set a goal of $7500 this year - clean water for life for 300 people!
