On February 15, Eli and Sarah along with 6 other families (including Eli's uncle Josh and Grandpa Ben) are traveling to El Salvador with the non profit, OneKid OneWorld.
The mission of OneKid OneWorld is simple: to make a difference in the lives of children in need around the globe. One world, one school, one kid, at a time. OneKid OneWorld provides a foundation for education in impoverished communities throughout Kenya and El Salvador by giving children from primary school up through secondary school the opportunity for a better and brighter future.
We are going on a whirlwind 4 day trip to El Salvador to volunteer at San Alfonso school. The funds that we raise will go toward major enhancements such as the construction of a new kitchen and eating area, repairing bathrooms, roofs, floors and water canals. Please support this important cause, either by donating before we go or after we return! Our goal is to raise $2,500 and then Eli will match it with money that he receives from his upcoming Bar Mitzvah.
Oh...and this trip happens to be a true labor of love for Sarah, her brother, Josh founded the organization, her husband, Keely took this trip in 2012 and she did a women’s trip in 2014.
