Come explore the Northern Cascades in Washington and climb Mount Baker while fundraising for City Kids Wilderness Project and our transformative outdoor youth leadership programming!
City Kids was founded on the belief that providing enriching life experiences for DC urban youth can enhance their lives, the lives of their families, and benefit the greater community. The goal of all City Kids programming is to build resiliency, broaden horizons, and ensure the skills for success for our participants through intensive, long-term programming using natural and wilderness settings to encourage growth. Today, City Kids serves over 130 DC youth through a 7-year program including summer, weekend, school break, after-school, college and career support and alumni support programming. In 2016, 100% of our youth who graduated from the program also graduated from high school! For more information on our program, visit our website.
