We are a nonprofit organization called Elder Helpers. Our services include helping in activities like gardening, cooking, rides, moving heavy stuff, or just merely company. However, it is easy to understand that when doing these activities, we work closely with elders at the same place. Hence, physical interaction is very usual.
It is known that older adults are at the highest risk from the COVID-19 outbreak. For these reasons and by fear, many of our members canceled their subscriptions since they are more susceptible to the infection that can affect their health. We understand and respect their decisions. We sent COVID-19 information to our members, including volunteers, to help them to prevent any infection, testing locations, promoting helping with grocery deliverers, phone calls, and reminders of being safe. We encouraged them to follow the recommendations suggested by the professionals.
Our organization is committed to ensuring that our workers are able to maintain financial stability. We just want to help our collaborators since without them Elder Helpers probably will not be able to keep helping seniors.
We greatly appreciate any donation that you can provide us. This will help provide immediate financial support so they can purchase essential supplies. Help keep our employees safe and healthy so they can eventually return to their work serving our community.
