The East Harlem School at Exodus House has been a pillar of strength and serenity for low-income families in East Harlem since 1993. We are committed to supporting our families, as well as our faculty and staff, during and after the challenges of COVID-19. Below, you will find the three immediate steps that we are taking to assure that we properly care for our community:
1. We have waived tuition for all of our students for the duration of the school year.
2. We will continue to provide paychecks to our entire faculty and staff - as they continue to work for our community - for the duration of the school closure.
3. Over the coming months, we will work to provide nonperishable food supplies and emergency grants to EHS families facing unemployment, eviction, and unforeseen medical bills.
In order to make all of the above possible, and to assure that children from East Harlem continue to get an education of the body, spirit, and mind - for all the years ahead - we ask you to please support The East Harlem School Emergency Relief Fund.
