It's that time of year again (I know, I'm sorry): 37 years old. $37 from 100 friends. $3,700 raised to support The Summer Hope Foundation's fight against cancer.
For the past several years, I've asked - begged? - for my friends, family and Summer Hope supporters to turn my birthday into supporting The Summer Hope Foundation, the non-profit organization to support people touched by cancer that I started when I was 20 years old. On April 3rd, I am turning 37 (!!!), and after my life being on something of a pause for the past 12 months, I am excited about this big new year. Help me get it started on the right foot, by making a $37 donation in support of my Birthday Wish.
This year Summer Hope will be celebrating it's Sweet 16 - and with that the reality that I am old enough to have a teenager. We need your help, more than ever, to keep our mission going. As I've gotten older, it's not always easy to compete with capital-L Life to keep Summer Hope a priority, but campaigns like this one, and the work we are able to do with the funds raised, is the constant reminder of how good, important and fulfilling our work can be.
Please donate & share! Thank you for always making my birthday a little easier and a little more special.
