About 10 years ago I was overweight (280 lbs). I started some light jogging to prepare for a Sparten Race in 2010. My training brought me to about 250 lbs. on race day. I loved it! I started siging up for more Obstacle Course Races. From there, I began running road races and I even ran Triathalons. Currently I'm 180 lbs. and training for my first full marathon ever, the 2018 NYC Marathon! All this training started me thinking of how I can help others struggling with obesity, especially teens and young adults.
I'm supporting a local charity in my neighborhood; The East Brunswick H.S. Track and Field Booster Club. My kids have ran for East Brunswick H.S. since freshman year, being part of this club I've seen tremendous support and dedication from the coaches and staff. They provided all the athletes a proper foundation to build a healthy lifestyle for their future. With your donations we can help reach those seeking a healthy lifestyle.
