April is Earth Month
Cherished landmarks of the Cascades, like Mount St. Helens, are under threat from mining and development. Climate change is damaging forest and aquatic wildlife habitat. Cascade Forest Conservancy is making progress in addressing these problems, however, and you can do your part by helping us in our Earth Month campaign!
How to Join
Starting and sharing your own campaign only takes a few minutes! Click the 'Join' button on this page, and log in using your Facebook or GoFundMe account. You'll then get an email with instructions on how to share and customize your campaign page. And check out the perks and prizes we're offering below!
Since 1985, we have been dedicated to the southern Washington Cascades and the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Our conservation, education and advocacy programs protect and restore the wild places and habitats that support life in the Pacific Northwest.
Why we need your help
We are a small organization, and we need all the help we can get to grow our campaigns and staff to address threats to our environment. Right now, for example, a Canadian mining company is advancing plans to construct a mine near Mount St. Helens. We advocate to protect these places, and restore wildlife habitat through restoration projects like our Instream Wood Bank Network. Donations from friends like you are critical to our success.
Perks and Prizes
This month, we are offering some prizes for our supporters who raise the most funding for our conservation programs! The top three fundraisers through GoFundMe will receive a CFC cotton hoodie, t-shirt, and a hat (multiple sizes available).
