Hi, I'm Bennett, and I'm hosting a charity climb-a-thon to benefit Chicago Adventure Therapy. The climb-a-thon is my mitzvah project--something that repairs the world--and is part of my bar mitzvah process. Rock climbing is an important part of my life. It is a sport that is really fun and engages the mind and body, and I wanted to share my passion with others. I researched climbing charities and found CAT. It gives youth opportunities to help their community and learn leadership skills through outdoor adventures and indoor rock climbing. It's one of the most direct ways I could find to give other youth access to a sport I love. The climb-a-thon is March 7 at the Evanston Athletic Club. Drop in from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. All proceeds go directly to CAT. You can donate to the climb-a-thon for CAT now through this site or at EAC on March 7.
