When it comes to Covid19, the residents of Dzaleka Refugee Camp are especially vulnerable to the threat.
A lack of running water combines with overcrowding to make infection control a near impossible challenge. A hand-to-mouth existence also makes bulk food shopping and a life in lockdown an impossibility. In fact, UN food distributions only cover enough for 12 meals a month.
Dzaleka refugees need our help. There is Hope wants to reach 1,500 households by raising $153,750. This will enable us to supply food packs, soap and face masks.
$10 buys twenty-eight bars of soap, $50 buys sixteen reusable cloth masks, and $100 provides a family of five with food for a month.
