Anyone who knows me knows that I've been working for a long time on getting the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe open. For the first few years, it was just a dream. "Pursuing the Dream" was our motto.
We've accomplished so much in these last years. The dream has started to come true!
Among our first achievements were raising the funds to buy Tesla's last remaining laboratory, beginning some education programs, clearing the grounds in preparation for the renovation and restoration, holding special events at Wardenclyffe like the annual holiday lighting and the Nikola Tesla birthday party, and hiring our first staff.
We have so much more to do, though.
In order to actually do the renovation and restoration, to begin to estabish the infrastructure for the future of the grounds, to help the staff to grow, and to develop and implement the plans for the buildings, grounds, and programs, we have to raise a lot more.
I'm still pursuing the dream, and I'd be so grateful if you would join me in this exciting project. Please consider making a contribution towards bringing the dream into being!
Nikola loved the number 3. Many $3 contributions can generate sparks! A contribution of $33 would really raise the voltage! Or if you're feeling super generous, $333 would be electrifying! Every contribution will make a difference.
Mark Twain, Tesla’s dear friend, said: “The difference between the almost right word and the RIGHT word is a really large matter. ’Tis the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.”
I hope you'll be part of the lightning!
