As you may know, I have been lucky enough to participate in DreamStreet for the last couple of years. DreamStreet is committed to providing children with life-threatening illnesses with the resources and opportunities afforded to healthy children. Each year, this wonderful organization hosts a summer camp, free of charge to campers, where these children are able to experience A sense of normalcy, despite their illnesses, and where they have the freedom to just be kids for a week. DreamStreet works hard all year to raise money for camp so that we can provide food, accommodations and activities to these wonderful and strong kids and each year, we end the week of camp with a carnival. Five years ago, with the help of DreamStreet volunteers, we started fundraising for this carnival. This year, our goal is lower than ever thanks to a number of amazing donors and outstanding volunteers who worked hard to raise the funds for camp. However, despite their incredible donations, we are still short on our goal for camp this year and would love if you could donate to the cause so that these kids can have one of the best weeks of their lives!
DreamStreet is important to me because of its amazing goal to provide these kids with an amazing summer. I was lucky enough to grow up without major illnesses and I was raised to believe that those of us who have so much are meant to give back! This is a great opportunity to give back, even if it is just a small donation!
Please feel free to pass along to your friends and family! Thanks for taking time to give thought to this amazing organization!
