Advancing cardiac care and saving lives is the center of my academic career. The American Heart Association (AHA) has been a major contributor to my work. As a young surgeon, the AHA awarded me a research grant that helped launch my research and resulted in innovative discovery. Since the AHA has been a major home for my philanthropic efforts and community service, I would like you to join forces with me to support the AHA and its mission.
I am very proud to be the LA County AHA Board Incoming-President. My wife, Susan and I, will be serving as the 2020 Heart and Stroke Ball Chair. We are proud to support the mission of the AHA and promote its impact in our community. My personal mantra of providing exceptional cardiac care to everyone without exception is personified by the AHA’s mission to improve cardiovascular health for all!
Please mark your calendar to join Susan and I at the Heart and Stroke Ball on June 13th at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. This year, 2020, gives us a chance to pause and celebrate the amazing progress that has been achieved in cardiac care while celebrating the rising stars who will accelerate new discoveries in the next decade.
