Hello family, friends, and supporters,
As many of you know, I seem to have caught the marathon bug. I think there are two reasons for this. One is the fact that I enjoy running and the second is the pleasure I receive from you as you support an institution that I feel is so important for our community and beyond. On November 24, I will be running the Philadelphia Marathon. I will once again be running to support the Montclair Public Library. I decided to run for the Montclair Public Library with the hope that the library will help lay the foundation for this generation and future generations to learn and apply their acquired knowledge to benefit society. The foundation of knowledge may help lead to the cures for diseases that afflict so many of our families and friends or help our society in other ways.
It is my hope that, as an orthodontist who has been privileged to work with so many wonderful patients and families for over 30 years, that I can rally some of them to this cause. It does not matter how much one gives; every little bit helps in a big way. I would be so happy if children in my practice contributed 10 cents a mile ($2.60) to the Montclair Public Library Foundation. $2.60 not only helps the library, but equally important, it helps children become aware of the importance of supporting worthy causes. Please donate as generously as possible through the GoFundMe Charity donate tab or send your check to the Montclair Public Library Foundation (50 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042) http://www.montclairplf.org. Please forward my message to anyone you think might support my cause. I promise I will do all of the leg work to reach my goal of 26.2 miles at the Philadelphia Marathon on November 24, 2019.
Very special thanks to Fleet Feet Montclair https://www.fleetfeetmontclair.com for the service they provide to our community and to Paul Giuliano http://www.runwithpaulg.com for his coaching expertise. On behalf of myself and the Montclair Public Library, I'd like to thank you for your support.
Best wishes always,
