Over the next four weeks (June 24th - July 21st), I am raising money to support my wife's nonprofit, FreeFrom, the first of its kind dedicated to creating pathways to financial security and long-term safety with and for survivors of gender-based violence through capacity building, innovation, and systems change.
FreeFrom is hosting the first ever Survivor Wealth Summit this July 24th-25th in LA. They will have workshops on everything from credit building to starting a small business to using technology to build savings. In addition, there will be free on-site services for survivors that include:
- 1-on-1 financial counselling
- resume creation and interview prep
- a small business center
- a small business legal clinic
- professional headshots
- business card design and printing
My goal in the next 4 weeks is to raise $25,000 to pay for 50 survivors to attend the summit for free.
SO each week for the next 4 weeks, I am running a contest to give away 3 prizes:
1 x natal chart reading; and
2 x $150 gift cards that can be used for any and all of my workshops
That's 4 free readings up for grabs. And 8 runners up will win $150 gift cards.
