Around the world, as cities have gone into lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus, these efforts to save lives, have put one vulnerable group more at risk. Women and children who live with domestic violence have no escape from their abusers during quarantine. This pandemic has affected us all in so many ways; now imagine being locked up 24 hours a day in a physically abusive, or emotinally toxic environment.
Milagros Day Worldwide has taken steps to let victims and survivors know they are not alone. During the COVID-19 Pandemic Crisis, we have kept in close contact with our community by organizing support groups and workshops via Zoom, Instagram, and Facebook Live. We also have a robust library of educational, inspirational and entertaining content on our YouTube Channel.
Whether you are a survivor yourself, or simply someone who cares about empowering survivors emotionally, spiritually, and financially; we welcome and appreciate your friendship and your support to help us reach more isolated families now! Your support will have a lasting impact because of the long-term healing work that we'll continue to provide after the massive trauma these families are currently experiencing.
