Lt Col David A Lincoln was not only an officer in the USAF, he was a man of God, He was a Dad to 3 beautiful children and my husband. He was fist diagnosed with cancer December 28, 2010, at Walter Reed Hospital. He was 46 years old. He was looking at retiring and we would be moving to Durham for retirement so we had plenty of options for employment in the medical fields for both of us. He battled cancer for 23 months with back to back chemo and radiation. Each scan showed it had spread to another area in his body. The time came when the only option was to call Hospice and he would die at home as he wished, around his family. He went to be with his Dad and brother on November 18th, 2012. There is so much more out there to help cure cancer, we need to raise awareness and funds to bring it out to help our children, our friends, our family and our parents. There is way too much cancer in our bodies now and we need to fight it with a vengeance!
