Please note, it will come up with Point Defiance AIDS Project. They are helping us start our project and allowing us to use their non-profit status. Please put Discovering our Hearts in the comment section so your donation goes into our account. Thank you!
When my brother passed in August of 2019 from endocarditis, I knew I needed to do something to prevent this from happening to others. I began to do research and volunteer at local harm reduction organizations and decided I needed to start my own project. The lack of resources and education available are so limited and it's something that we as a community need to do better. In October of 2019 my husband and I decided to create our own non-profit organization focused around and dedicated to my brother. Our goal is to just spread kindness to people who may not receive it on a daily basis. Our plan is to start small and carry supplies and hand them out as we see there is a need, hold events monthly to pass out food and necessities to the homeless, help our veteran populations with their needs in our community, and spread general kindness in the community. We are need of funds in order to get our project off the ground and any donations received is much appreciated and will go towards a good cause! Discovering our Hearts is dedicated to Joshua O'Neill Gray (8/6/1982 - 8/29/2019).
