The Amazing Grace Ministries (AGM) has brought Disaster Relief to thousands of victims for the last several years. We are celebrating our Fourth Year. Cora Perkins (Executive Chief of AGM) has used her personal truck for the ministry. Last year AGM delivered over $15,000 worth of products to Wilmington, N.C. hurricane relief. Previous year, AGM brought water, paper products, other disaster relilef supplies to Gatlinburg, TN, Wildland Fire disaster. This year, AGM supplied Beauregard, AL victims with clothing, paper products, blankets, cots, furniture, cleaning supllies, and other disaster relief items. Last December 2018, during a significant snow storm, an 80 foot pine tree fell across the truck. Cora contacted the landlord of the property insurance company and they claimed it was an act of God and would not repair the damage to the truck. Cora only had liability insurace on the 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. The Truck has over 300,000 miles and this ministry is in desperate need for a new vehicle for ongoing disaster relief as well as ministry work here in Hendersonville and abroad. The replacement vehicle is a Dodge Ram 2019 Promaster 2500 Cargo Van High Roof. The price tag is $45,000 which includes tax, license and insurance.
