Shock and sadness fills the capital of Lebanon (Beirut) after 2 explosions took place last Tuesday, August 4, in the afternoon. Homes up to 6 miles aways were damaged. Entire families died, new orphans are searching for answers. The death toll keeps rising and the injured include children and elderly.
Today, the Lebanese population is trying to recover from the horror of these explosions, caused by the presence of tons of explosives that resided in a company from the port of Beirut since 2014.
According to data registered in 2019, almost one and a half million children live below the poverty line in Lebanon, which after this explosion, specifically in the city of Beirut, the number will increase. Unfortunately, there will be more refugees seeking for hope, while they try to recover from the trauma of this unfortunate event.
Although we mourn with the Lebanese families, SER-KALLAI is empowered to help in their immediate needs to give them the possibility of a better future. That's why we have created this campaign to join with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and provide any funds collected to the Beirut's disaster relief for the children that have been victims of this explosion.
Join us to support those in their immediate needs need.
Let's extend our hand to help.
Let's become ONE.
